Los Victorero era una familia de inventores, oligarcas y caciques nacional-católicos en el pequeño pueblo pesquero de Lastres, Asturias. Combinando tomas de 8 mm filmadas por Antonio Victorero y entrevistas con personas que les conocieron se muestra un mundo antiguo y claustrofóbico de principios del siglo XX, que ha desaparecido barrido por la modernidad.
The Victorero were family of inventors, oligarchs and national-catholic chieftains in the small fishing town of Lastres, Asturias. Combining 8mm footage shot by Antonio Victorero and interviews with the people acquainted with them, I tried to show an ancient, claustrophobic world from the early 20th century, one that has now disappeared, swept away by modernity.
