The documentary follows the route from Puerto de la Mesa, the oldest and safest means of entering Asturias from Leon, and follows a path high up in the mountains. Before it has change into a mayor turistic route, the path, and those who live along it, shows us how the Asturian language developed, from the Leonese plateau to the centre of Asturias.
